HR Advisor

Experienced HR Advisor wanted! Join a values-led organisation in Canterbury, providing expert HR advice. CIPD Level 5 is essential.

Our client is a respected organisation with a strong sense of purpose and values. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a real impact, ensuring best practice and compliance across all HR activities.

• Provide clear, pragmatic HR advice across recruitment, employee relations, and absence management
• Lead Safer Recruitment compliance, ensuring robust processes and audit readiness
• Support managers with sensitive casework, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability
• Maintain accurate HR systems and workforce data
• Contribute to HR reporting and organisational change projects
• Assist with policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (essential)
• Strong HR advisory experience and knowledge of UK employment law
• Confident handling of sensitive issues with discretion
• Experience in Safer Recruitment or willingness to develop expertise
• Background in charity, education, or the public sector is advantageous

Location:

Canterbury, Kent

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum DOE

Full-time
