2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether offers vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

Helpdesk and Switchboard Operator Role

Helpdesk and Switchboard Operators are outgoing, customer‑focused people that provide a critical service to all callers to 2

Gether and the Trust (EKHUFT). They are part of a central point of contact that delivers an efficient, tailored and courteous first line support service to patients, members of the public and staff. Previous call handling experience and good IT skills would be an advantage. This is a full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week, with a 24/7 rota requiring some degree of flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to enquiries through various channels and deliver exceptional support to patients, staff and external callers.
  • Maintain strong affinity with IT systems and manage systems to ensure timely delivery of service requirements.
  • Act under pressure by responding to major incidents, emergency calls, fire alarms, etc.
  • Proactively monitor systems that manage workflow to different teams within 2gether and match with the right team or operative when required.
The Person

The role requires excellent communication skills, motivation and strong customer service skills. The role has a real impact on the patient experience and focuses on providing exemplary services.
