Maintenance Operative Canterbury £14.13 per hour Starting Monday 24th August 2-Week Temporary Contract Monday to Friday Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Operative to support their site during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with facilities, maintenance or caretaking experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.

You’ll be joining a supportive team within a well-established organisation, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day site operations. This short-term assignment offers immediate work and the chance to make a real contribution during a busy period.

• Provide general facilities support across the site
• Carry out basic maintenance and upkeep tasks
• Assist with room set-ups and moving equipment or supplies
• Help ensure communal areas remain clean, safe and well organised
• Report maintenance issues and site concerns promptly
• Support the wider team with operational tasks as required

• Previous facilities, maintenance, caretaking or similar experience
• Good practical skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Strong reliability and good time-management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to support where needed
