We're seekinga highly skilled Electrical Engineering Manager totakeownershipofelectricalassetsandmaintenancedeliveryacrossitsportfolio.

Thisisaseniortechnicalandleadershiproleofferingrealinfluenceovercompliance,safety,assetperformance,andlong-termmaintenancestrategy.

The Role

Youwillberesponsibleforthe
fullspectrumofelectricalmaintenanceactivities
,actingastheorganisation'ssubjectmatterexpertforelectricalsystemsandcompliance.

Thisincludesoversightofstatutoryinspections,PPMregimes,reactiveworks,andcontractorperformance,alldeliveredinlinewithagreedSLAsandKPIs.

Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

• Leading,managing,anddevelopinganin-houseelectricalteam(includingapprovedelectriciansandsupportstaff)
• Actingas
  Authorised Person(Electrical)andcontrollingsafesystemsofwork,includingpermitsandisolations
• Ensuringfullcompliancewithelectricallegislation,health&safety requirements,andgovernancestandards
• Developing,maintaining,andcontinuouslyimprovingelectricalPPMstrategieswithinaCAFMenvironment
• Managingelectricalmaintenancebudgetsandensuringcompliancewithprocurementandfinancialregulations
• Overseeingspecialistservicecontractsandsupplychainperformance
• Maintainingaccuratestatutoryandassetrecordsandproducingtechnicalandfinancialreports
• Providingexpertadvicetoseniorstakeholdersandcontributingtoestate-widemaintenanceandassetstrategies

Essentialrequirementsinclude:

• HNC/HND(or equivalent) in Electrical
  
  Engineering,orsignificantdemonstrableindustryexperience
• Extensive hands-onexperienceofelectricalbuildingserviceswithincomplexestates
• Detailedknowledgeofstatutorycompliance,electrical safety,andthebuiltenvironment
• Provenleadershipandpeoplemanagementexperience,includingperformancemanagement
• StrongworkingknowledgeofCAFMsystemsandstatutoryPPMmanagement
• Experiencemanagingandcontrollingmaintenancebudgets
• Excellentstakeholdermanagement,communication,andreport-writingskills
• Willingnesstoparticipateinanout-of-hourson-callrota
