Job Overview

We are looking to appoint an experienced Nurse to work in our Medical Centre. The 8‑bedded unit provides 24‑hour nursing care and support to all pupils. The medical provision focuses on health care, minor injuries, illness assessment and treatment, medicine management, and care plans for long‑term conditions. We emphasise general health, wellbeing, pastoral care and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24‑hour nursing care and support to all pupils.
  • Deliver health care, treat minor injuries, assess and manage illness.
  • Manage medicines and care plans for long‑term conditions.
  • Focus on general health and wellbeing, pastoral care and safeguarding.
Schedule & Hours

The position is 43 hours on average per fortnight, term time only (35 weeks per year). Shift pattern:

  • Week One:
    Wed & Thurs 14:45‑21:15, Sat 07:30‑19:30, Sun on call 11:30‑21:15.
  • Week Two:
    Fri & Sat 14:45‑21:15, Sun on call 07:30‑21:00.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse with the NMC.
  • Experience working in a similar environment preferred.
