Position: Registered Nurse - The Doctors Woodham

Registered Nurse

Permanent Full Time 40 hours per week. We welcome experienced nurses or graduates to join our committed, fun and supportive general practice team environment. Our clinic is fully equipped with the latest technology and is bright and spacious.

Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. Do you have what we are looking for?
  • A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
  • Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
  • Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi
  • Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions
  • Willing to continually learn and improve
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members
  • You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
  • Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
  • Computer literate
