Senior/Supervising Social Worker   Basic Salary:
Up to £41,334.38 per annum, depending on experience

What You'll Do   As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, your role will be pivotal in supporting Foster Parents and ensuring the best outcomes for children in care. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing guidance and support to Foster Parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Monitoring the suitability and competence of Foster Parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Educating Foster Parents on their roles, responsibilities, and the standards expected of them.
Conducting regular supervision sessions in line with FCA’s Operational Standards.
Collaborating with the child’s network to identify needs and provide necessary support.
Ensuring compliance with all key documentation for children and Foster Parents.
Attending meetings and providing reports for Commissioning Teams.
Encouraging children and young people to participate in agency development and community resources.
Participating in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
Conducting occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What We’re Looking For   To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A Social Work qualification.
Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
A full driving licence.
