We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join a busy, fast‑paced operation in Canterbury. This is a temporary opportunity offering weekday hours and a competitive hourly rate.

• Accurately pick and pack orders to meet dispatch deadlines
• Prepare goods for shipment, including labelling and required documentation
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Organise incoming stock and store items in the correct locations
• Carry out regular stock checks and support inventory management
• Replenish picking areas to maintain workflow efficiency
• Use basic warehouse systems or handheld scanners where required
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues
• Ensure all items are packaged to the required quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines
• Support wider warehouse operations and assist team members as needed
• Work to daily productivity targets in a fast‑moving environment

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good physical fitness due to manual handling duties
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A positive, proactive team player
