Fore Front Simulator Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our growing construction and technology company with accurate and timely financial reporting. Based in our Canton, GA headquarters, this role plays a vital part in maintaining financial accuracy, processing vendor payments, managing AP and AR, tracking expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. You’ll work directly with our leadership and project management teams to ensure smooth financial operations across a variety of unique projects.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has experience in construction or project-based accounting.

• Process and record day-to-day accounting transactions including A/P, A/R, and general ledger entries
• Assist with monthly close procedures and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records of project costs and help track budgets vs. actuals
• Support payroll reporting, time tracking, and employee expense reimbursements
• Work with vendors to manage billing issues and payment schedules
• Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
• Maintain organized digital records in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books)
• Collaborate with project managers and operations for job costing accuracy
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support annual tax preparation and coordinate with outside CPA as needed

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in Oracle Netsuite, Excel, and cloud-based accounting platforms
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in construction accounting, job costing, or AIA billing (a plus but not required)
• Discretion when handling confidential financial data
