Full-time / Monday through Friday

In person

• Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Observe all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and local, state, and national agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
• Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Chroma Early Learning Academy curriculum and programming
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
• Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while setting clear and consistent expectations for behavior
• Accept responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds
• Attend all staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions
• Maintain overall professional and personal appearance in accordance with the guidelines offered in the Chroma Early Learning Academy Employee Handbook
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

• Satisfactory Background Check
• 18+ years old
• High school Diploma
