Critical Care Medicine locums coverage is needed in Georgia for an inpatient closed ICU, with night shifts and no call. Starts with immediate holiday coverage, then transitions into an ongoing 6 month assignment with an option to extend.
Highlights- No call required
- Fast credentialing, temporary privileges available, otherwise about 60 days
- Closed ICU, 24 bed unit with an average census around 18
- Ongoing 6 month assignment following initial coverage, option to extend
- Inpatient closed ICU, adults only
- 24 bed unit, average census about 18
- Typical night shift volume includes about 2 to 5 admissions
- Includes APP supervision
- Night coverage, scheduled hours are 7p to 7a
- No call responsibilities
- Initial coverage must include 12/24 to 12/27, then ongoing coverage for 6 months with option to extend
- ICU night services for a closed unit
- Urgent intubations and in house code needs as they arise
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Active Georgia license required, facility will not wait for a license
- BLS and DEA required
