Sales Engineer​/Estimator

Dagard USA, based in Canton, GA, is a US manufacturer of high-performance insulated panel systems for controlled environments, a member of the PUREVER INDUSTRIES Group. We design and supply modular cleanroom wall and ceiling panels, cleanroom doors, and windows for demanding applications across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, battery manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, and food processing industries.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team and serve as the primary technical resource for pre-sales estimation and client engagement. In this role, you will translate customer RFQs and project specifications into accurate, competitive budgetary proposals for our panel systems, doors, and windows — covering pharmaceutical cGMP, battery and EV, semiconductor, and other advanced manufacturing environments.

You will interact directly with clients, general contractors, MEP engineers, and architects to clarify scope, refine specifications, and position Dagard USA's solutions effectively. You are not expected to produce fully engineered shop drawing-level estimates at this stage; rather, you will develop credible pre-construction-level take-offs that enable customers to budget and move projects forward, and that allow the sales team to close opportunities with confidence.

Annual salary range $85,000 to $90,000 plus performance bonus

• Review and interpret project RFQs, specifications, architectural drawings, and construction documents to identify scope of supply for Dagard wall panels, ceiling panels, doors, and windows.
• Develop pre-construction budgetary estimates with sufficient accuracy to support client go/no-go decisions and internal pricing strategy.
• Prepare and issue formal quotations, including product line-ups, quantities, lead-time commitments, and applicable exclusions or assumptions.
• Collaborate with the internal engineering and project management teams to validate technical feasibility and pricing inputs.
• Support the Sales Manager in finalizing and delivering the formal quotation to the client.

• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, construction managers, architects, and MEP consultants during the pre-sales and proposal phase.
• Conduct virtual meetings to walk through project requirements, answer technical questions, and refine the scope of supply.
• Identify upsells and substitution opportunities (e.g., panel type, finish, door hardware, window configurations) that better match the project's regulatory and operational requirements.
• Represent Dagard USA at pre-bid conferences, industry events, and trade shows as needed.

• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in the CRM system, including project status, estimated value, and probability.
• Report on bid activity, win/loss trends, and market feedback to the Director of Sales Engineering.
• Coordinate with the sales team to prioritize estimation effort based on strategic fit and probability of award.

• 3–8 years of experience in construction estimating, pre-sales technical support, or sales engineering in a building envelope, specialty construction, or controlled-environment sector.
