Cherokee Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team. As a key member of our administrative department, you will oversee the financial operations of a skilled nursing facility with a strong commitment to quality care, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.

What You’ll DoIn this role, you will lead all business office functions, including:
Financial & Billing Operations- Oversee billing, collections (A/R), accounts payable, and resident trust accounts
- Ensure accurate daily census, Medicare/Medicaid billing compliance, and timely month-end close
- Ensure pre-admission payer verification is accurate and timely
- Support state/federal regulatory compliance, surveys, and financial audits
- Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and staff
- Communicate financial information with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
- Support residents during the admissions and financial orientation process
Required:
- 2+ years of business office or billing experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong working knowledge of SNF billing, Medicare/Medicaid, managed care, and long-term care insurance
- Experience in A/R, collections, census/billing reconciliation
