Cherokee Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team. As a key member of our administrative department, you will oversee the financial operations of a skilled nursing facility with a strong commitment to quality care, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will lead all business office functions, including:

Financial & Billing Operations
  • Oversee billing, collections (A/R), accounts payable, and resident trust accounts
  • Ensure accurate daily census, Medicare/Medicaid billing compliance, and timely month-end close
Compliance & Admissions Support
  • Ensure pre-admission payer verification is accurate and timely
  • Support state/federal regulatory compliance, surveys, and financial audits
Customer Service & Communication
  • Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and staff
  • Communicate financial information with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
  • Support residents during the admissions and financial orientation process
What We’re Looking For

Required:
  • 2+ years of business office or billing experience in a skilled nursing facility
  • Strong working knowledge of SNF billing, Medicare/Medicaid, managed care, and long-term care insurance
  • Experience in A/R, collections, census/billing reconciliation
