Cherokee Center for Nursing & Healing is hiring a Part-Time Activities Aide. At Cherokee Center for Nursing & Healing, we prioritize the well‑being of both our residents and our team members. We foster a familial environment, extending our care to everyone within our facility.
Responsibilities- Assisting the Activity Director to implement the activities program.
- Following the current activities schedule as directed.
- Providing one‑on‑one activities for bed‑bound residents.
- Assisting residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
- Completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
- Identifying and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.
- A warm and caring personality.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Preferred, but not required, experience working with the elderly population.
