* * Live Receiving Supervisor     At Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition , which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.
Pilgrim's is seeking a Live Receiving Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. You'll oversee critical operations such as live hang, drawer loading/unloading, forklift driving, and shuttle drivers. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, animal welfare, sanitation, budgeting, and productivity while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process coordination. Essential Duties & Responsibilities   
* Leads hiring, coaching, and motivation of team members to maximize quality and productivity.
* Encourages team member involvement through meetings, safety teams, audits, and problem-solving.
* Oversees daily department operations and drives process improvements.
* Coordinates live bird handling activities, including unloading, drawer movement, and live hang, ensuring humane treatment and compliance with animal welfare standards.
* Oversees equipment and crew rotation within live receiving tasks (e.g., forklift operation, finishing machine support) to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Promotes open communication and supports a positive work environment.
* Manages scheduling of people, materials, and equipment to meet production needs.
* Conducts performance evaluations and ensures consistent feedback across the team.
* Maintains high standards in safety, yield, efficiency, and quality while supporting departmental goals and budgets.
* Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team     What You'll Need   

* Education:

High School Diploma/GED;
College Degree in related field preferred.

* Certifications:

Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months. Valid Pilgrim's Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days.

* Experience:

1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred. Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.

* Skills:

Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities, good math skills and basic mechanical knowledge.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

* Schedule:

Monday - Friday with occasional weekends;
* Benefits :
