Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit; PACU

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) position in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Towne Lake ASC. 16-week assignment.

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius. Minimum 2 years of PACU or specialty experience required. Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Required to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).

• Provide nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for assigned patients.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to changes in status per unit protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and smooth transitions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with minimum 2 years of PACU or related specialty experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work the specified schedule and holidays.

  Towne Lake ASC; must not reside within 50 miles for local candidate considerations.
