Travel Nurse Source  is working with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a qualified Radiology RN in Canton, Georgia, 30115. This 13‑week travel assignment offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a dedicated clinical team.

• 1 year of recent experience as Diagnostic Radiology RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification

• Current PALS Certification
• Current Radiology Nursing Certification (CRN)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Complete nursing assessment of patients in the Radiology department and document appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to plan and coordinate patient care
• Monitor patients’ responses throughout procedures and report outcomes
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
• Initiate intravenous access lines, monitor vital signs and oxygen saturation during procedures
• Administer special dyes/contrast mediums into patients
• Administer barium enemas/solutions prior to procedures
• Administer analgesia and sedation as ordered by physicians
• Practice proper radiation protection
• Reassess patients after their procedure and provide care until they are ready to be discharged
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
• Transport patients as needed ensuring their safety and comfort
• Follow hospital safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of radiology nursing practice
