Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in Special Procedures.

Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety.

Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and sedation as prescribed.

Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team.

Educate patients and families on procedures, preparation, and recovery.

Accurately document patient care, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital standards.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Valid Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or procedural nursing.
