American Traveler is hiring an RN for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology requiring recent specialty experience and ICU, ER, or PACU background.
Requirements- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology
- ICU, ER, or PACU training required
- Radiology RN experience preferred
- Work in the Radiology Special Procedures unit of a hospital setting
- Provides IV sedation to patients undergoing radiology procedures
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing special radiology procedures, primarily administering IV sedation
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
