Role Description The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct pediatric nursing care in the home, delivering safe, age-appropriate, and family-centered services to a medically fragile child. This part-time, on-site role is based in Canton, GA and includes responsibilities such as conducting assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing an individualized care plan. The RN collaborates with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to update care plans, educate caregivers on clinical and safety procedures, and promote optimal health outcomes.

Day-to-day tasks also include documentation of care, adherence to regulatory and agency protocols, participation in case conferences, and timely reporting of changes in patient status. The RN supports a stable and nurturing home environment by offering guidance, emotional support, and clear communication to children and their families.

Qualifications

• Possession of strong pediatric clinical skills, including assessment, medication administration,nand respiratory care.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate, family-centered care and provide education, support, and clear communication to children, families, and caregivers.
• Proficiency in care planning, clinical documentation, and coordination with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards in a home-care environment.
• Active, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Prior experience in pediatric, home health, or critical care settings is highly beneficial.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes in the Canton, GA area and ability to work part-time with appropriate flexibility in scheduling.
