Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities. This role uses commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, power, and digital tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations under Walmart’s safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 lbs, use ladders, and work at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean record and passes MVR.
• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and at least 2 years mechanical maintenance or construction‑related experience; or 4 years mechanical maintenance experience.
• Completion of 2‑year HVAC/R program (preferred).
• Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located (preferred).

• Hourly base pay $23.00‑$45.00.
• Additional bonus incentive eligible.
• Possible hourly premiums of $0.35–$3.00 based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
