Fleet Manager - Canton, Ga

The Fleet Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate records for all company vehicles, trailers, and fleet-related equipment.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License

• Samsara systems (GPS)
• DOT requirements (federal & multistate)

• Microsoft Suite
• Vehicle maintenance knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
• Effective listening, interacting and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail

• Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 60-70 pounds including body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
• Potentially working outdoors in all types of weather
• May be required to work unpredictable hours dependent upon needs of the business (accidents or unexpected repair situations may arise on evenings or weekends)

• Noise levels are moderate to heavy.
• Work in office environment, warehouse, or outdoor environment depending upon needs.
• Varying degrees of light as work may begin early morning and continue in the evenings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicles through tracking of maintenance and repairs
• Verify employee driver information
• Support fuel card and review transactions for accuracy
• Maintain fleet technology and tracking
• Assist safety management in accident, insurance, and claim administration
• Coordinate communication between outside vendors and employees for repairs or maintenance

GTS is based in Canton, GA with operations nationally. We provide planning, engineering, construction and support services for a broad range of network infrastructure. After the first year of employment, you will earn 80 hours of paid vacation. Then an additional 40 hours on the fifth year of service for a total of 120 hours per year. GTS observes seven (7) paid holidays which are payable after the 90-day probation period is over. GTS also provides three (3) paid personal days per year, usable after 30-days of employment.
