The purpose of the property inspection is to verify property occupancy and report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only; about 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors on a county‑level basis, meaning you would be responsible for completing all inspections in your county.

• Perform most common inspections in 5‑6 minutes.
• Complete the inspection within 4 days after assignment.
• Report general property conditions and make an occupancy determination based on industry standards.
• Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
• Complete a short form in the mobile app.
• Be able to spend extended periods driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

• Computer with an internet connection.
• Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus; you will pay your own gas).
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Printer.
• Pass a standard background check using a valid driver’s license.

This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, varying by county and volume. Although paid per inspection, you can expect an equivalent of $30‑$40 per hour.

Depending on county (urban or rural), you may complete anywhere from 20–500 inspections per month, working 2–30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates; higher volume counties have lower rates. Work is consistent month to month, and earnings can increase as you become established, have greater availability, or cover a larger territory.

No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
