The Fulton County Health Department has an opening for a full-time Health Professional/Educator. Duties include planning and organizing community health education events/outreach for the following grants:
Tobacco, Carolyn Adams Ticket for the Cure, Firearm Safe Storage, Wisewoman, Better Birth Outcomes-Comprehensive, Family Planning, and Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
The starting pay is $19.19 per hour. This full-time position includes 15 paid holidays, health, dental and vision insurance (employee pays a percentage), a generous time off package, and quarterly bonuses and gym membership reimbursement through June 2027.
Qualifications and Requirements- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of application - OR
- A.A. OR A.S. in the field of behavioral science, social science, or health related area with two years related experience and recommendation from the Division Director.
- Strong communication, time management skills, reliable transportation and the ability to work with the public is required.
