Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Canton, MA on a new Senior Accountant opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working within the manufacturing industry, working hands‑on within the GL, and experience working for a publicly traded company would be nice to have.
Base pay range$85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Assist with month‑end‑close.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and bank statement reconciliations.
- Monitor AP/AR processes.
- Review financial statements and assist with audits.
- Reports to the Controller and complete ad‑hoc tasks as needed.
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Hands‑on experience within the GL.
- Strong manufacturing background.
- Strong Excel experience.
- Net Suite experience is nice to have.
