We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent college graduates and someone with an understanding in accounting principles who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The Junior Accountant will assist with daily financial tasks, ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, and support various functions for Duggan Mechanical Services.
Responsibilities- Data entry and multiple spreadsheets maintenance.
- Assist accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients & internal department staff as needed.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with other monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist and/or prepare monthly journal entries.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support accounting needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Provides general financial related administrative support to the Accounting Manager and team.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
$50,000 - $72,000 (Commensurate with experience)
Working Conditions- Setting:
Office-based role. - Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. - Onsite:
Required onsite presence 5 days a week.
