Opportunity Overview
Electrical Supervisor (Solar construction projects) is onsite position based in Pierce County, Nebraska. Per diem at GSA rates. This is a 1‑year contract assignment (W‑2). You will help facilitate field commissioning and turnover. You have the experience to create good relationships with the EPC and others on site. You will ensure that safety is the number one priority on all sites.
You will need to have an understanding and verify all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation. You will need to understand SCADA and fiber optics. You will need to understand electrical and fiber testing, IE, TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, VOC's. You will report to the onsite Manager.
- Have an understanding all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation.
- To work collaboratively in a TEAM environment.
- To verify that all drawings, submittals, and specifications are accurate.
- Understand SCADA and fiber optics.
- Understand electrical and fiber testing, IE, TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, VOC's.
- Work with the EPC, sub‑contractors, operations teams, and any others working on site.
- Report daily, weekly and monthly on progress, quality control and safety.
- Use Unifier to record, name, and upload of electrical installation QC photographs.
- Facilitate the Request for Information(RFI) process with the EPC and site engineering.
- Perform inspections of equipment being installed to verify it's done correctly and per the scope of work and specifications.
- Review project completion documentation.
- Communicate with project's designated safety, engineering and quality control parties.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:
6 to 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $70.00/hr to $75.00/hr.
