General Superintendent – Plumbing Infrastructure
Profile of the Successful Candidate

- Expert knowledge of plumbing systems and applications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large field teams.
- Effective collaborator with in-house trade line teams as well as operational and support departments

- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the plumbing industry
- Demonstrated success in sales/business development, operations management, project management, and team leadership
1. Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers, supervisors, and field teams (service, construction, estimating, administration, etc.)
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
- Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and performance metrics
- Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card
- Oversee daily operations of plumbing service and construction projects
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation across multiple teams
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Monitor key financial indicators including revenue, margins, job costing, and cash flow
- Approve purchasing and expenditures in accordance with company policy
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors
- Support estimating and sales teams in preparing bids, proposals, and negotiating contracts
- Identify new market opportunities and service offerings to drive revenue growth
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local plumbing codes and licensing requirements
- Oversee safety programs, training initiatives, and compliance documentation
- Promote a proactive culture of safety and risk management
- Collaborate with ownership to define short- and long-term business goals
- Analyze market trends and company performance to guide strategic decisions
- Implement systems, technologies, and processes to support scalable growth
