Location:
Canton, MA area.
Hours/week:
Casual/On-Call. Exemption:
Non-exempt.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.
* starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*.
- Pick up truck at rental location.
- Load equipment/supplies into box truck.
- Drive box truck to event location.
- Unload truck and assist with setup as needed.
- Return truck to rental location.
- Remain up to date with Keep SAfe Trainings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
High school or equivalent.
Work Experience
At least 1 year of experience as a professional driver (e.g., commercial, delivery, personal chauffeur, etc.).
Other Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive rental box truck safely at any time.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work irregular hours.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must understand and appreciate the Mission of The Salvation Army.
