Job Summary

* The Landscape Construction Laborer utilizes hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape construction duties.

* This role may require extensive travel, including over night stays. Travel expenses are covered by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manually excavate with shovel

* Hand tool use including wheelbarrow

* Load & unload materials

* Experience with planting, grading and sodding.

Education and Experience:

* Landscape Construction experience helpful, but not necessary.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

* Ability to use manual hand tools such as shovels for extended period.

* Ability to move soil, equipment, and materials, dig holes, and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers.

* Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.

* Ability to load/unload semi trucks

* Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.

Work Environment:

* Ability to work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic.

* Ability to work near or about natural bodies of water.

* Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)

* Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

* Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
