Shift: 10-hour Shift – Monday to Thursday (Candidate must be comfortable working on holidays)

Range: $38.60/hr

• Data Center Facility Operations Specialist: responsible for data center engineering facility operations within a client data center, including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.
• On-site management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure work adheres to established practices and procedures.
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate projects with managers and other leaders to manage capacity and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Operate and manage routine and emergency services for critical facilities systems (e.g., switch gear, generators, UPS, power distribution, chillers, cooling towers, CRACs, BMS, EPMS, HMI).
• Serve as first escalation point for all facilities-related issues for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) items.
• Oversee maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment using detailed technical procedures; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Manage ticketing queue by priority and risk to customers.
• Monitor equipment and site status using BMS, EPMS, and HMI; assist in design/build-out of new facilities and projects to improve efficiency.
• Manage asset and inventory; deliver quality service to meet customer demands.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.

• Electrical and/or HVAC trade certifications or 5+ years of data center or mission-critical facilities experience (e.g., hospital, military facility, public safety facility).
• Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout and low-voltage cabling (copper/fiber).
