Overview

As our Health & Safety Manager
, you’ll play a key role in championing a Safety‑First culture.

You’ll bring energy, passion, and hands‑on leadership as you strengthen our safety practices and support teams at every level.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and promote a comprehensive health & safety program
  • Inspire positive change through communication at all impacted levels
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulated safety standards
  • Identify, mitigate, and help control high risk activities across a multishift environment
  • Investigate accidents or near misses to discover root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Build and maintain strong relations with customers, vendors, business associates and employees
  • Coach, develop and train all levels of employees to strengthen safety knowledge and support long‑term professional growth
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Track, analyze, and report safety metrics to internal and customer leadership team, highlighting trends and recommending action plans
Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5+ years managing health and safety in a similar multishift, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with common safety hazards in equipment or vehicle processing
  • Knowledge of applicable best practices, industry standards, and legal/regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with safety‑related documentation, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office tools
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
  • Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining a proactive safety culture
  • A track record of successfully influencing change and improving safety performance metrics
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHSC, CSD, MSP)

The Health and Saftey Manager starting range is between $85,000-$97,000.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental conditions vary by location, including indoor and outdoor settings. Employees may encounter extreme temperatures, wetness, wind, fumes, dust particles and drafts.
