** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization as required, and maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

+ Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following Allied Universal procedures, and assisting with security-related requests as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
