Summary

Performs high quality Ultrasound imaging. Assists in the daily routines of the ultrasound department, assists the RN and physician in the performance of interventional procedures, and is responsible for the coordination and ongoing evaluation of the daily schedule to fit in add‑on exams. Complies with the professional and ethical standards of the American Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Schedule: 7.5 hr Variable Shifts

• Graduate of an accredited US program and registered with ARDMS or Registry eligible; current BLS required.
• Fluent in scanning all aspects of Ultrasound: OB/GYN, Breast, Venous, Arterial, Abdomen, Pelvis, Soft tissue, TV, and Interventional procedures.
• Will work holidays as per hospital schedule.
• Can work in a fast‑paced environment, work independently, and lift 1–50 lbs.
• Customer‑service oriented and able to work with all facets of healthcare providers.
• Minimally 1 year of US experience in a variety of exams (OB, Venous, Arterial, Abdomen, Breast, Interventional procedures). Includes clinical experience obtained during US training.
• Preferred: 2–3 years of experience in a variety of US exams.

• Provide direct patient care in performing Ultrasound examinations.
• Maintain departmental equipment by following OEM guidelines and reporting equipment failure or concerns to the departmental Manager and Biomed.
• Follow policies and procedures for infection control, universal precautions, and isolation procedures when required; report any issues to the departmental Manager.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement and complete all required annual training and competencies.
• Demonstrate responsibility for personal professional development by participating in continuing education requirements.

Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. $38.20 – $56.28

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full‑time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
