Quality Engineering
Summary: We are seeking an experienced CMM Technician to support quality operations in a fast‑paced injection molding environment. This role is responsible for performing dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and software such as PC‑DMIS and Poly Works, analyzing measurement data, and communicating results to engineering and manufacturing teams. The position is also responsible for conducting MSA's and gauge calibration.
What you will do:
- Performs dimensional inspections to CAD data using PC-DMIS/Polyworks
- Analyzes and reports from dimensional software and communicates findings to engineering
- Conducts dimensional troubleshooting on blueprints
- Conducts gage R&R’s and MSA’s
- Calibrates/Verifies gages under company procedure specifications
- Utilizes Gage Trak software to maintain records of gages and calibrations
- Maintains prompt and regular attendance as scheduled
- Works safely and without injury through adherence to all safety rules and guidelines.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum of 2 years of Dimensional inspection and/or community college coursework; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CMM
101 Hexagon Certification and/or equivalent experience. - Must have successfully completed an approved GD&T certification;
Ex:
Hexagon, ASME, Mitutoyo - Experience using layout equipment to inspect parts.
