Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

Con Met - Canton, NC location is looking to fill a
Maintenance Mechanic
position to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems.

This is a
12 Hour Night shift
Position.

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Perform required preventative maintenance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis
• Observe and comply with all company rules and regulations including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and procedures
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred
• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance mechanic experience preferred; in lieu of experience, mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints required
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations
• Experience in field service, hydraulics systems or industrial electrician roles is a plus
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
