HOURLY PHYSICIAN – HOSPITALIST (Casual Position)

Key Responsibilities- Patient Load:
Average of 16.82 patients per day. - Admissions:
Typically handle one admission per day, with a full‑time swing shift physician covering most daytime admissions. - Procedures:
Closed ICU; no procedures required. Ultrasound available for POCUS, reimbursed per procedure as an additional income opportunity. - Team Structure:
Work within a strong, collaborative team that includes- 9 Physicians and 4 Nurse Practitioners rounding daily.
- A Medical Director onsite.
- An RN Executive Director.
- 2 RN Care Coordinators.
- 2 Administrative Assistants.
- Meetings & Events:
- Brief 15‑minute daily huddle M–F to discuss census, care needs, etc.
- Division meetings every 6–8 weeks to discuss group performance, challenges, and initiatives.
- An annual off‑site event for team socialization and group discussion.
- A yearly holiday party in December to foster camaraderie.
