Job Description
The Professional Surveyor will support residential and land development projects by preparing accurate surveys, plats, legal descriptions, maps, and surface models. Reporting to a licensed surveyor, this role will contribute to Boundary Surveys, Mortgage Location Surveys, and ALTA/NSPS Surveys while coordinating with clients, field crews and drafters and maintaining strong quality-control standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform and prepare Residential Boundary Surveys, Mortgage Location Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, and Replats.
- Prepare boundary plats, legal descriptions, topographic maps, and surface models.
- Process survey data and conduct record research.
- Apply quality-control procedures to survey deliverables.
- Coordinate project requirements with clients and field crews.
- Support technical documentation and survey project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Ohio Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
- Knowledge of boundary law and topographic mapping.
- Strong technical documentation, analytical thinking, and client communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate field crews.
- Ability to coordinate drafters
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in land surveying.
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Experience with Carlson Software and Microsoft Office.
