We are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee all U.S. state and local tax functions. Hybrid role outside of Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of U.S. state and local tax compliance, managing both internal and external resources
• Oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740
• Prepare and review tax accruals and journal entries across multiple state-level tax types
• Manage audits and defend tax positions with confidence and strategy
• Partner cross-functionally to implement tax planning strategies and reduce risk
• Leverage tools to improve processes and reporting

Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of corporate tax experience (industry and/or public accounting)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP (ASC 740), multi-state taxes, and tax software platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts for non-tax stakeholders
• CPA or MST preferred.
