Physical Therapist (PT)

Compensation$34.00 to $49.00 per hour

- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients/families.
- Set goals and develop treatment plans.
- Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient‑specific and facility‑wide needs.
- Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervise PT and PTA students.
- Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
- Monitor patient’s response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions, as needed.
- Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in‑services.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
