Medical Assistant / Patient Scheduler

Join One GI® as a full‑time Medical Assistant/Patient Scheduler in our Canton, OH clinic at 4360 Fulton Drive. The position involves scheduling procedures, handling patient records, and supporting clinical staff.

• Schedule patients for procedures at the clinic, ASC, hospital, radiology, and lab work.
• Measure vital signs (weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and document all information in the patient chart.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, as applicable.
• Obtain, verify, and record patient health history.
• Assist the physician during office visits and in emergencies when required.
• Manage patient prescriptions, referrals, and notify patients of test results.
• Schedule research patient visits.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a medical office environment preferred.
• BLS certified required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday.
