Certified Medication Aide

Overview

Altercare of Nobles Pond, Canton, OH is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA). This position will be a CNA | STNA who works under the direction of the Charge Nurse, administers prescription medication, and performs other duties.

This Certified Medication Aide will be a CNA | STNA and will work under the direction of the Charge Nurse and will administer prescription medication as well as perform other duties. This individual will maintain full knowledge of duties, responsibilities and accountability and shall act in accordance with the laws pertaining to administration of medication by a certified medication aide. The CMA will document in the medical record and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements for this position: A minimum of one year experience as a CNA | STNA, and completed an Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Training Program with an active, unrestricted Medication Aide Certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
