As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) on our Per Diem team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Per Diem team. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting physical therapists with the development and implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans

  • Providing hands-on therapy to residents, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify resident needs and track progress

  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of resident care

  • Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists with the development and implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Participate in individualized and group therapy sessions to help residents achieve their physical therapy goals
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify resident needs and track progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care, including progress reports and discharge summaries
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapy department
