Patient Food Service Attendant

AVI Food systems at Aultman Hospital is seeking an applicant for the Patient Food Service Attendant. This position manages the delivery of patient dining.
Great starting rate of $15.00/hr weekdays and $16.00/hr weekends with continual opportunities to make more money. The right applicant will possess excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Use an iPad to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patients.
• Serve patient meals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote the highest levels of quality and service.
• Active Listening and Speaking – giving full attention to what others are saying.
• Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help and assist people.
• Reading Comprehension, time management, good judgement, and decision-making.
• Holidays are required.
• Rotating Weekends Required.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Healthcare experience not required; there is NO moving or repositioning of the patient.
• Professional appearance required.
• Excellent entry level position for any health services major; includes patient interaction and integration with other patient support services.
