Your Day-to-Day

• Architect and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple client environments
• Spin up new environments for transformative business projects
• Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure uptime, compliance, and performance
• Design security policies that protect without hindering development
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, cost controls, and compliance checks to reduce manual overhead and human error
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align infrastructure strategy with business goals
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents, with a focus on prevention and rapid resolution
• Optimize costs while ensuring peak performance

Experience Required

• Expert-level AWS across multiple services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, etc.)
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, AWS CDK)
• Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing multi-environment, multi-tenant architectures
• Excellence in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Proven track record with SOC2 compliance or similar frameworks
• Clear written communicator that prefers documentation to meetings
• Portfolio showing systematic, well-architected infrastructure

Bonus Points

• Experience with Django/Python deployments
• Infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (GPU instances, model serving, vector databases)
• Experience with AI development tools and platforms (Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
• Database administration and optimization
• Cost optimization achievements
• Disaster recovery planning experience
• Mad /giphy skills on Slack (or a desire to learn)
