The Service Advisor’s role is to assist in managing and maintaining the efficiency, professionalism, and profitability of the service department. Also responsible for general clerical and administrative duties within the Service Department. This individual will answer incoming calls to the Service Department, direct callers to the appropriate colleague, set up appointments for service customers, translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete, and consult with technicians about necessary repairs and alternative options that can be offered.
JOBQUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a college degree is preferred. - Experience:
Must have at least three years of experience, with a working knowledge of industry products, repairs, and parts.
- Strong Communicator: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter & Problem-solver: with strong organizational skills.
- Customer Service Excellence:
Providing outstanding service to all customers both internally and externally. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer skills including Microsoft applications.

- Manual Dexterity:
Regular repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard. - Mobility:
Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. - Strength:
May occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate amounts of weight. - Work Environment:
The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
