Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Canton, Ohio, with a minimum of four years' experience to support legal work primarily in Business, Tax, and Mergers & Acquisitions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills.

• Research and analyze complex legal issues; draft memorandums and briefs.
• Analyze and summarize legal documents; draft and prepare contracts.
• Perform discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies.
• Conduct due diligence in contracts, agreements, and mergers & acquisitions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook.
• Experience with legal research software.
• Ability to compose client, business, and legal correspondence.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage workload and shift priorities efficiently.
• Effective communication with diverse clients.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

• Bar admission in the state of Ohio.

• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Desire to produce high-quality work.
