The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment. They will have a working understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra, thoroughly understand metallic properties, and can work independently with engineers/tool and die makers.

• Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, and/or samples to ensure accurate production
• Take precise measures for cutting or shaping
• Select appropriate machines and settings for a given task
• Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
• Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
• Maintain inventory of completed products
• Check for quality assurance and documents or discard defects
• Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Math
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift to 75 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

• High school degree or equivalent
• Journeyman Machinist with certification preferred
• Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
• Working knowledge of safety protocols

This is an hourly full‑time position on day shift. The current work schedule is 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, but this could change based on production requirements.

The rate of pay will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
