Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a valid OH or compact license, strong Epic skills, and current advanced certifications.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift position with a 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Requires caring for a variety of emergency cases and patient populations
• Uses the Epic electronic medical record system
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Candidates must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests during orientation
• Permanent candidates may not return to this health system for one year from previous employment end date
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Emergency Department RN experience required prior to any travel assignments
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Demonstrated experience with Epic documentation
• At least one reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the ED within the past 12 months
• No license hits accepted
