Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and at least 1 year of combined specialty experience.

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completion required during orientation with acceptable scores

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
